Gangapur City, July 14 – The free RO water facility, continuously operated for the last three months by Lions Club Sarthak at the Church Ground water tank, was formally concluded today in a gracious manner. This annual summer service project has proven to be a boon for city residents and passers-by.
Project coordinator Dr. Mukesh Garg informed that the RO water point has been set up every year for the past three years, running from mid-May to mid-July. This year, it began on May 15, catering to a diverse group of beneficiaries including children playing in the church ground, youth preparing for police recruitment, morning walkers, local residents, and rural travelers visiting the city.
Today, to mark the conclusion of the service, refreshing buttermilk (chhachh) was distributed among all those present. Despite light rain and cloudy weather, the enthusiasm and presence of Lions Club Sarthak members ensured the successful completion of the event.
The operation of this facility is entirely voluntary, and this year’s team of dedicated supporters included: Lion Kanhaiya Soni, Dr. R.K. Mehta, Dr. Ravi Gupta, Dr. Mukesh Garg, Anand Goyal, Bhupesh Garg, Mukesh Gupta, Anil Kumar Goyal, and Dr. Rajesh Garg.
