In America, these riots are taking place after the killing of a black citizen by the police. Things have become so bad that the world’s most powerful man and President Donald Trump had to take refuge in a bunker in the White House. This bunker is used during terrorist incidents. The rioters and protesters have reached Washington DC, the capital of the US, and for this reason, all the lights outside the White House had to be switched off on Saturday night.
Protesters reached the White House on Saturday night and several incidents of arson took place near the White House. These demonstrations led to the shutdown of the White House exterior lights and the White House was completely immersed in darkness.

Of the white Americans living in the US, 17 per cent had ancestors of German descent, while 12 per cent of Irish, 9 per cent of English, 6 per cent of Italian, 4 per cent of French, and 3 per cent of white Americans are of Polish origin. Apart from this, about 12 per cent African Americans live in America and these are called Black or Black in America. While the number of citizens of Asian descent in the US is about 5.6 per cent.

On May 25, police arrested 46-year-old black American George Floyd in the city of Minneapolis, USA. George Floyd was accused of buying cigarettes by giving a fake $ 20 note. The police who reached the spot arrested George Floyd and a policeman placed his knee on his neck to prevent him from escaping. It is being said that the accused policeman held George Floyd’s neck under his knee for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, due to which George succumbed and died. Since then, protests began in all cities of America, including Minneapolis, and these protests took the form of looting and arson in many places. Now showrooms are being looted in some city of America, somewhere superstores are being looted, then somewhere people have started looting the jewellery shops too.
The US city of Minneapolis falls in the US state of Minnesota, and now the National Guard has been removed to Minnesota to control the situation. The National Guard is part of the US military and for the first time since the Second World War, military help is being sought to control riots in the state of Minnesota. Apart from this, there are at least seven states of America, where preparations have been made to call the National Guard. During this time some protesters are resorting to violence and while some people are holding peaceful demonstrations. These people are raising slogans like Black Life Matters and I Can Breath. But to understand how the situation in America got out of control and how the killing of a black citizen burned so many cities of America in the fire of riots, you have to understand the history of America and its population.
In America today those who are called White or White American are not native to America. Native Americans are called American Indians or Red Indians.
