Gangapur City. The Board of Directors (BOD) meeting of Lions Club Sarthak was held yesterday with the presence of 24 members. The meeting included a review of past programs, planning for upcoming events, and discussions on several important matters.
The Diabetes Check-up Camp was reviewed, which is regularly organized on the 1st of every month at Dr. R.K. Mehta’s clinic. The CPR Training Camp was also discussed, particularly the matter of purchasing dummies for training purposes.
The club announced that a Garba Festival will be organized on Friday, 26th September. An organizing committee has been formed for the event, comprising Mayank Gupta (with spouse), Ashish Gupta (with spouse), Naresh Gupta (with spouse), Jitendra Gupta (with spouse), with Swati Sharma designated as the Chief Coordinator.
A proposal to hold the Oath-taking Ceremony was unanimously approved. The District Governor has fixed 18th September as the date for the ceremony. Aman Verma and Vinod Gautam will serve as coordinators for this event.
After Diwali, two tentative dates have been finalized for the Divyangjan Assistance Camp—7–9 November and 14–16 November. It is worth noting that Lions Club Sarthak has been regularly organizing camps for differently-abled persons and also provides free physiotherapy services.
It was further decided that all upcoming programs should be widely promoted on social media. Members were requested to share the club’s posts on their personal status and platforms.
During the meeting, respected teachers of Lions Club—Vinod Gautam, Jitendra Gupta, Lalit Kishore, and Aman Verma—were felicitated and honored by the PST team and the Zone Chairperson.
It was also resolved that a Core Committee Meeting will be convened to finalize the details of all upcoming programs, in which the respective coordinators will also participate. The final outlines will then be shared within the group.
The meeting was presided over by President Dr. Anil Todwal. Secretary Pawan Gupta and Treasurer Bhupesh Garg presented key points of discussion. The meeting also witnessed the special presence of Zone Chairperson Anand Goyal.
