world earth day 2020

World Earth Day, celebrated on April 22 every year since 1970, has social and political significance. Although ‘International Earth Day’ celebrated on 21 March has the support of the United Nations, but it has scientific and environmental importance.

It is celebrated as a symbol of the spring of the northern hemisphere and the autumn of the southern hemisphere. However, in most countries of the world, now on April 22, ‘World Earth Day’ was celebrated. Indeed, the day is the brainchild of US Senator Gaylard Nelson, who spent many years trying to find an environment for everyone.

Come, let us make a promise today on this World Earth Day that we will not do any work that will make Motherland a responsible citizen. Here we have a responsibility to contribute in making this Earth beautiful and livable.
“The Earth does not belong to us
We belong to the Earth.”
Marking Earth Day 2020 as ray of hope, optimism & action, 1st time in the history, World Earth Day(50th) will be celebrated across the globe via ‘digital means’ since we have to stay inside home amid Covid19 lockdown.
There’s no amount of money, gold or oil in this world that is more valuable than our clean environment, oceans, forests and wildlife. We only have one earth and we have to start taking care of it before it is too late!

world earth day
The Earth does not belong to us,we belong to earth.

Earth Day hits a bit differently this year with many around the world in some form of quarantine. Now that many of us can’t be outside, we miss it more than ever.
We may be separated, but remember:⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ We are all in this together and we’re all on this planet together This crisis of CoronaVirus has also taught us that we do not have to exploit the earth but to cooperate with it.

But before that, understand the most important message of this epidemic. And that message is that death and epidemics do not discriminate between the rich and the poor, the weak and the powerful and the high and low. This truth of death has ended all discrimination and now everyone is facing this crisis equally.
But is this crisis also pointing towards era change? Some changes that have taken place during this period tell the same story. Which you should know today.

The factories of Kalyug are essential for the economy, but they are also the biggest reason for pollution. But today these factories are closed and the environment has got rid of pollution to some extent. This epidemic has once again focused people’s attention on cleanliness

It has been said in the Puranas that when the Kali Yuga ends, a holy river like the Ganges will return to heaven. How many years are left for the end of Kalyug, it cannot be said. But due to Lock Down, the river Ganges can spend some more time on earth. Because of the decrease in pollution, the rivers across the country are starting to clear.

⁣⁣⁣ No matter where you are in this world, we are connected by our challenges.

‘ पवन गुरू , पाणी पिता , माता धरति महत। दिवस रात दोए दायी दाइआ , खेले सगल जगत।। ‘

Air is the Guru, Water is the Father, and Earth is the Great Mother of all. Day and night are the two nurses, in whose lap all the world is at play.

This crisis period will bring positive changes in your life only when you see it not as an imprisonment but as a miracle. A charisma that can make your life strong like a mountain, calm like the sea and huge like the sky. So don’t fight with nature, cooperate with it. Nature can prove to be your true friend in your privacy.
When the world is in Lockdown, nature is breathing in the open air, and healing itself. Take the example of India’s rivers, which have made themselves so clean and serene by taking advantage of the lockdown, as many governments have not been able to do this by shedding money like water. The water of the river Ganges, which was not even considered worth bathing in many places, has now become drinkable.

According to the report, the BioLogical Oxygen Demand in the Ganges has also decreased by 20 percent at Har Ki Paadi. That is, there is so much oxygen in the water of this river, that animals floating in it can breathe comfortably.
By the way, this improvement in Ganga water quality has not only happened in Haridwar and Rishikesh. The Central Pollution Control Board, or CPCB, said a few days ago that there are 36 Monitoring Units of the Ganges River, out of which, on 27, the river water has become safe for bathing and aquatic organisms
That is, the rivers of the country have presented their own model of reviving themselves. In which the hidden direct message is that if humans stop their non-essential activities, then there is no need to spend thousands of crores to save nature and environment. Nature can take care of itself, just humans, stop exploiting it.

World witness Superpink Moon few days back.

But the inspiration from CoronaVirus does not mean that you will return to the old pattern once LockDown opens. Stop exploiting nature again and make animals, rivers, mountains and seas fall prey to your desires in the name of freedom
